Bandit, an 8-month-old pet ferret, walked a full marathon (26.2 miles!) with his family over the course of two and a half weeks to raise thousands of dollars for a great cause! The Wood family donated their time and efforts to support The London Children’s Book Project and the At The Bus art charity, where it is expected that 12,000+ books will be distributed to thousands of children in low-income homes in the Oxfordshire area. Jim Wood said, “It’s good to be doing something to help which also makes people smile. Our concern is that Bandit will think this is ‘the new normal’ and we will have to carry on doing this every day.”
